Eigen AI Labs (MagicByte AI, Inc., DBA Eigen AI Labs) is a Palo Alto-based AI startup building the next generation of multimodal data and model infrastructure spanning synthetic data generation, model development, and inference acceleration.
Our clients include leading robotics companies, enterprise AI teams, and research labs leveraging Eigen AI's stack to train and deploy large-scale multimodal models. We are expanding our Business & Partnerships team and seeking an experienced, well-connected Business Development leader to accelerate growth across enterprise, academic, and strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Growth: Identify and pursue partnership, enterprise, and ecosystem collaboration opportunities in AI, data infrastructure, and simulation markets.
- Deal Execution: Lead negotiations, proposals, and partnership structuring with clients and strategic partners, including cloud, GPU, research, or robotics ecosystems.
- Customer Relationship Expansion: Build, strengthen, and expand customer and partner relationships through regular engagement, solution discussions, and joint success planning.
- Revenue Growth: Track deal progress, manage pipelines, and drive consistent revenue growth through proactive follow-ups and cross-team coordination.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong connections with C-level executives, investors, and ecosystem partners across the Bay Area and beyond.
- Market Intelligence: Track emerging trends in AI infrastructure, data pipelines, and simulation technologies, translating insights into actionable go-to-market strategies.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations to align BD activities with technical deliverables and company milestones.
- Brand & Representation: Represent Eigen AI Labs at industry events (e.g., NeurIPS, CVPR, ICRA, AWS re:Invent) to strengthen visibility and strategic positioning.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-7 years in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, or Enterprise Sales, ideally within AI, cloud, or data infrastructure industries.
- Network: Established connections within the Bay Area AI/tech ecosystem (startups, VCs, enterprise customers, or research institutions).
- Skills: Strong deal negotiation and relationship management skills; proven ability to build pipelines, track deal progress, and meet or exceed revenue goals; excellent written and verbal communication (English required, Mandarin a plus); deep understanding of emerging AI technologies, data products, or SaaS solutions; entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional startup.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or technical background a plus).
